Meet Dr. Kristie Fong

”I have always been drawn to the healing arts. Through childhood and into my college years, my plan was to become a medical doctor and follow in my father's footsteps, but I had a hard time accepting that medication or surgery were the ideal solutions to so many health problems. I was excited to find Chiropractic, a healing art that integrates a wealth of information from Western and other traditional medicines to support the body's natural ability to heal and regulate itself. Chiropractic is a common sense approach to health; if you have a mechanical problem with your body, you need to apply a mechanical solution. I holistically approach the health and function of the body, and take tremendous pride in offering a practical and innovative approach to helping patients achieve better function.

Besides being a Chiropractor, I am a Chiropractic patient.  I understand that in addition to wellness and overall better health, people want improved function and tangible results.  I have trained in tennis, volleyball, Judo and Jiu Jitsu at a competitive level, and currently practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and Tai Chi.  Being under regular Chiropractic care enables me to train hard, maintain a high level of performance, and recover from injury more quickly.”

My Goal

”My patients come to me with many goals: to achieve better health, to be pain-free, to have better performance in athletics, or simply to maintain their body. Whether you come to me feeling great or with aches and injuries, there are things we can do to help you improve your health and meet your goals. Your body can heal itself and become more resilient to the stresses of life.

My goal is to help you improve your quality of life.  I work with young patients to help them grow up strong and reinforce good habits, elderly patients to keep them moving and pain free, and all ages in between.  I have worked extensively with pregnant women to enable them to have an easy and comfortable pregnancy, delivery and recovery.  I strongly believe that healthcare is a shared responsibility, with equal accountability resting on doctor and patient.  Every patient has great potential to optimize their health through their own actions.  I am fully committed to providing each patient with an individualized diagnostic and therapeutic approach to assist them in their journey toward an optimally functioning body and an improved quality of life, chiropractically.”
